Digital minimalism and technologies around us

We wanted to show young people how today's technologies work and why they work that way.
We also wanted to make basic information about digital literacy known and why it is important to understand digitization. We wanted to use something very simple yet effective. The main activity was made with participant's mobile phones. We work with phone mode in settings and show them their real spend time on the internet and watching the screen after they did the guess. The were very surprised with their results. The could see the apps they spend the most of the time on and that the whole spend time is much longer that they imagined. We also talked about the privacy and their border of personal life sharing. The whole workshop was very open-minded and the active brainstorming was the main idea of the meeting.

Because we wanted our participants to feel comfortable during the online meeting we told them to bring their own beverages and favourite snacks.
