ENG Cozy Mood Online Talk

The workshop was divided into two parts where we focused on two main topics. First topic is the Political influence of the individual. In this topic we worked with the cultural stereotype -'czechs complain a lot'. We gathered ideas of participants on how to complain effectively and how to change public decisions in a political field. The second topic was Gender equality - a boy or a girl? It propably doesn't even matter. In this topic we explained what is gender equality, feminism, sexism, gender roles and stereotypes are and how they effect our daily life. The main task in this part was to share the experience, stories and to learn how to fight for equality and to fight against sexism.

idea:

We focused on what people should and could in certain situations. In a political field we tried to encourage them and ensure them to act if anything in a public sphere is not to their liking. We would like them to do not hesitate and to know how to say their opinion and change things in the most effective and rightful way. In the second part of the project we focused on encouraging young women and men to fight gender stereotypes, think with an open mind and realize that gender equality is very important to live decent rightful life and that we should not be treated based on our type of sex.

additional important organizational tasks:

As we chose to do the Cozy Mood Online Talk because of the Covid-19 situation, the moderators and participants chose to bring their favourite beverages for inducing the relaxing atmosphere.
