idea:

The workshop is intended to create small "aha" effects in relation to the topic of plastics among the participants and to present them with practical and above all simple tips on how to avoid the raw material in everyday life. The workshop is also intended to draw the participants' attention to the film "Plastic Planet". The participants should go home after my workshop and feel motivated to avoid plastics in everyday life and to implement the information.

Aid: Key ring of the TN
Procedure: The participants sit together in pairs and introduce themselves to each other using their key ring. For example: "This is my bicycle key. I had to repair my bike last week because...". After about 2 minutes the participants change partners and meet another participant.
Performance in match length
Tools: matches, a small bowl with water
Procedure: The participants sit in a circle and introduce themselves one after the other. However, they only have as long as their match burns. When the match has gone out, the box is passed on and it is the next one's turn.

Become active yourself - report your own experiences
Presentation of the book „Schluss.Mit.Plastik.“
The book describes the following rubbish collection campaign: Just take a bag and collect garbage in the nearby park for 5 minutes - the result is shocking.
This action can be carried out by the workshop leader in advance, so that the participants can tell about their own experiences.
Alternatively, the action can be carried out together during the workshop.

What ideas do you have? What are you already implementing?
Ask the participants about their own ideas and experiences and record what they have said on moderation cards.

Product presentation
In order to make it easier for the participants to immediately apply what they have learned, it is useful to present concrete products on plastic avoidance at the end of the workshop.
examples: cloth bags, beeswax wipes, bamboo toothbrushes, refillable bottles and cups, etc.
