This activity seeks to increase learners' knowledge with regards to discrimination in public places. Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of people, especially on grounds of race, age, gender or sex. Learners will understand the importance of helping victims of discrimination. They will also learn about the negative effects discrimination has. It is also vitally important to properly embed minority groups into the community, in order to prevent acts of discrimination.

Learners will understand the importance of helping victims of discrimination. They will also learn about the negative impact discriminatory acts have on individuals and society as a whole.

It is recommended to use this workshop/reflection unit with groups you know and have already worked with.
